Hello folks. Can anyone out there please give me advice on a badly dripping flow sensor. Can I just replace a washer or do I need a new sensor? The boiler is working fine, but fills a tub with water twice a day. How do I stop the water flow to the valve? The sensor has a black plastic, round headed attachment end with a cable leading to the top circuit board on the other. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You have to depressurise system or drain/bung if open vent. replace sensor, refill.

As the flow switch is on the cold water mains supply, all that is necessary to replace it is to turn off the mains stop tap (there may be a bit of spillage from water remaining in the pipework, but that's all). |

Fixed it thanks all.it was a case as you said,to turn off the mains supply and add a washer! I thought it was more complicated as nothing is normally that easy. Thanks again.
