Hello! My aging mother in law has this Powermax 155 and both the hot water to the taps and the radiators is scalding hot - dangerously so. In fact she's already ended in hospital once with burnt feet getting in the bath! Is there so etching that can be simply addressed to reduce the overall hot water temperature? I'm not a trained boiler person, but do have mechanical, electrical and plumbing trading/experience of old.... Any help/guidance would be appreciated. Kind Regards, Ian

The water temperature inside the boiler's thermal store (tank) is normally maintained at 80 degrees C (which will also be the temperature of the water circulating in the radiators), but the blender valve should reduce this to around 60 degrees from the hot taps. It's possible that the valve has stuck or needs replacing.

Better left to a trained boiler person if I can find one to touch it?
