Dave, This is usually caused by the 'hold off relay' failing. Part number P759. I suggest you test yours and replace it if not working. Or just replace it anyway if you aren't sure about how to test it's operation. They are not expensive. Google the part number, plus the word Powermax. Mike Hi Mike I had the same problem. I replaced the relay and it started going well. But after a few days problem came back again requiring frequent manual resets of the limiter switch. A tech came to service my boiler today and suggested replacing the thermostat (Part number p784). I can do that. But can anybody tell me please how to fit that bullet shape thing at the end of its copper wire. Is it just matter of plugging it to the long copper cylinder on the tank. Do I just pull the old one out and push the new one in. Here is the picture. Many thanks in advance in
