I recently moved into an apartment with a Powermax HE 85.
When I looked up the model I saw the safety recall for the flue connector so I called them up and last week Baxi came round to change the part for free. This involved dismantling the boiler.
However since then when we use the heating we get random lock outs with code A40 (System response fault) and some times E04 (Flow sensor open circuit). We didn't use it very much before the work, but I never saw a lockout before.
The only other difference is that before the pressure was in the range 2.4-2.9, when putting it back together the guy pumped up the expansion vessel and now the pressure shows 1.1-1.6.
Is there any chance theres something simple thats amiss with the rebuild that could be causing these errors?

The problem developed so that even with just hot water on it was continuously locking out with E04. At one point I was also getting radiators heating up with hot water off as the boiler was cycling, burning for 20 secons then locking out.
Changing the appropriate sensors indicated by the error fixed the problem and for now it seems to working again, knock on wood.
