My central heating pump is very noisy , I think the bearings have had it . Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement that will work . I have contacted a few plumbers and they tell me to buy a new boiler . Seems a bit extreme for just a pump . Boiler works fine otherwise !
Cheers

CJ1492 - the upper CH circulator (as opposed to the lower pump which circulates water through the boiler's heat exchanger) is a standard multi-speed pump as used in any central heating system. I suggest you note the model number of the current pump and ask around at plumbers' merchants etc. for a suitable replacement; or contact a manufacturer such as Grundfos for advice.

Sorry it's the lower pump I'm having trouble with . Single speed one . I asked all local merchants inc plumbase . None recognised the pump or a replacement . It is the original Powermax gold 50 single speed .
