It has worked well during that time but is now suffering from a problem.
The boiler lights, runs and heats the thermal store. It then starts to pump the hot water round the central heating system. It starts and stops 4 times with the green light going off and on, with several minutes in-between, then the red lock out light comes on. Switching on and off repeats the cycle and providing it is switched on and off every 7 minutes it continues to work.
BG have replaced the pump, the gas valve, the thermostat and the ignition electrode/cable.
The problem still persists and they do not know what to do next.

I bet your question is old now and you might have sorted it out since ? I had the same problem and it appeared that each time it was the PCB faulty. It happened to me 2 or 3 times over 3 years I used new part for it and then reconditioned as I had one in stock. Now I am relocating the boiler and the old one which is working perfectly since XMas is for sale or parts. I even have a reconditioned PCB in stock (in case) I have put it on eBay N° 183926910202 and it is available for viewing working. Alain Dufour 62 Northwood Drive Sheffield S6 1RY 0114 21 66 22 9
