Hi there,
Ive got a Powermax 140 that is playing up abit.
It isn't supplying very hot water. I've noticed if I let the tap run fully open I get a supply of hot(ish) water. If the tap runs at low pressure the supply quickly goes cold.
The central heating is working fine
When the tap is fully on I can hear the boiler rumbling. From what I've read I suspect the heat exchanger might be scaled up or the blender valve?
On Wednesday a boiler man is coming to look but I don't want to be misled hence my research!
The boiler has been in the property since new - so is 12 years old.
Any help would be great
thanks

Hi ptelf,
Appreciate this is a number of years later, but was wondering if you ever got resolution with this issue? I have an issue where the hot water to the taps also slows to the point where it doesn't flow anymore, and am wondering if it is the blender valve causing the problem.
Many Thanks,
Max
