Mike
I own a house that is 10 years old this year. It is on a new estate where all the houses had Powermax 155 boilers installed. A lot of my neighbours are having major issues with these boilers and are having to replace them. My boiler appears to be working ok at present - my question is should I consider replacing this boiler at a time convenient to me rather than waiting for it to break down? Would a new boiler be much more efficient?
Many thanks
Tim

Tim,
My view is yes, this is a good strategy. Hard to bring oneself to spend money replacing a working boiler, but after a couple of £500 breakdowns in quick succession, it gets much easier!
