I have a potterton powermax he150. When you call for heat of the room stat the green boiler light comes on and heats up the radiators. But if you turn thermostat to off the green burner light goes out. But the pump keeps going for about an hour or so.

Unfortunately with the HE, the pump overrun is controlled by the PCB, and I think this will need to be changed. Best to check with Potterton tech support though as I'm not certain on this.
As the PCB is £300, you may prefer to just live with it!
