Morning Gentlemen,
Our company recently replaced some radiators to a property heated by a Powermax 155 open vented, The system has been desludged and the pump has been replaced with a Grundfos ups3 set at its lowest setting.
The header tank is in good order, the water level lifts slightly when the appliance is at full temperature but not enough to overflow.
The system is working really well, other than it is drawing in a small amount of air, dumping it in two small radiators downstairs and one upstairs. normally takes three days for the problem to come to light.
Thanks in advance for any advice given.

Ballfix valve under the floor, with a little mountain of scale underneath it. Drained down and swapped it out, No further problem. Only thing I can suggest is a very minor negative leak allowing a tiny amount of air into the the system as the pump is running. Still don't know why the air did not escape up the vent, unless the motion of the pump was enough to force the air out into the system.
