Hi. Would like to know if my flue is ok, basically my boiler is in a large cupboard and the flue goes straight out of the wall from behind the boiler, there is no room either side or on top to be able to see the flue but I'd like to know if it is safe.
Also I would like to change a radiator which I have done many times on a standard combination boiler but never on a power max, if anyone could give me an idea of what I need to do, it'd just be a, turn both radiator controls off, take old radiator off and put a new one on and connect back up, but no idea about filling the system back up etc.
Thanks in advance.
AJ.

AJ,
This flue configuration is considered safe as it goes directly through the wall to outside.
Nothing to stop you changing a rad using the method you described. Refilling depends on whether your Powermax is a sealed system configuration or open vented. Does it have a pressure gauge?
