Hello,
My Powermax 140 boiler has locked out after loss of pressure. I used to fix this earlier by topping up water pressure to 1.0 from the outside installed flow tap. But this time even after topping up to 1.0 the boiler is not firing up and locking out. I also noticed that water is coming out of the auto air vent. Water may also leaking from somewhere else as the pressure is dropping with in few hours even when the boiler is switched off. The boiler is 10 years old now and its AAV, PRV etc never been replaced.
Reading through multiple posts suggests that there may be multiple problems here , Auto air vent probably needs replacing, I may also need re-charging of the expansion vessel to stop loosing pressure?
Any suggestions on fixing lock out and loss of pressure?
