Hi,
Boiler tries to light, have tested ignition and HT lead and sparking nicely, can hear what sounds like a burst of gas igniting, but the gas valve clicks again and it goes quiet until next attempt to fire up.
I am thinking that the gas valve is faulty and can only operate briefly for a second or so. Does this sound feasible,or is there something else that could cause these symptoms?
I appreciate any feedback, really don't want to think about new boilers this close to Christmas.
